LCC Studio, Elephant and Castle Shopping Centre
Free and open to all.

Come learn, paint and help make DIY sets and props for a new community-made re-make of ‘The Three Musketeers’ that will be screened in LCC Studio later this month!

On Wednesday 8 and Friday 10 August, London artist Billy Sassi will be turning LCC Studio into a DIY prop-making workshop area – and is inviting members of the public to get creative with him.

Billy will be making backdrops, scenery and DIY ‘sculpture’ out of cardboard and acrylic paint. Join him to make your own trees, stools, tables, scenery and more to feature in the new film.

After shooting the film later this month with the newly built props, the film will be screened in LCC Studio on Thursday 30 August, so you can see what you’ve helped make on the big screen!

The session will be fun, playful and a chance to be a part of a film in collaboration with other artists and the local community… Expect lots of painting, gluing and cutting out!

Billy Sassi, an artist living and working in London. He works largely through performance and video and is interested in the imitation of identity.
