Professor Amy de la Haye, London College of Fashion Professor of Dress History and Curatorship and Co-Director, Centre for Fashion Curation and the Rootstein Hopkins Chair of Dress History & Curatorship, invites you to attend her Professorial Platform Lecture ‘OBJECTS OF A PASSION: Curating, Writing and Teaching as Practice’

Introduced by Professor Frances Corner, OBE Head of College and Pro-Vice Chancellor of UAL

"This lecture will explore how dress – in its material form – inspires and informs my writing, curatorial and teaching practices and how these entwine. The objects of my passion for the period 2014 to 2018 comprise the dress collection, British fashion, haute couture 1850-1919, mannequins, worn and perished dress."

Following the lecture please stay for a drinks reception and viewing of a small display of the Rootstein Archive.
