12 Jun 2014

10.30am to 4pm

Here in Archway is an annual teaching project where first year fine art students research, test collaborative and site responsive artworks that are realised simultaneously on one day in the public or private space of Archway. After five years of the project UAL’s Centre for Learning and Teaching in Art and Design CLTAD have funded a research project to consider the methodologies and impact of this particular approach.

The symposium brings together previous and current project participants with teaching colleagues and students from across Central Saint Martins for a day of presentations, performances and discussions. Three keynote speakers will present historical and contemporary perspectives on experiential learning, collaboration and site-based teaching.
