Lettering: Objects, Examples, Practice

An exhibition exploring the rich history of lettering through a selection of key historic books and manuscripts from the College's museum and study collection and central lettering record. 
 
Also on display will be work by Central Saint Martin's alumni, showing the influence of the past on emerging practice. Featured designers include Eric Gill, Edward Johnston, Catherine Dixon, Derek Birdsall, Ken Garland, Phil Baines, Jeremy Tankard, Ed Wright and Anthony Froshaug.
 
The exhibition is co-curated by Professor Phil Baines and staff from the museum and study collection.

Monday to Friday: 10am – 6pm
Saturdays: 12 – 4pm
